Installation Engineer - Hassakah

Job Title: Installation Engineer Reports to: Project Manager Department/ Division: Project Location: R2 Hassakah General Job Role: The LTE Supervisor Engineer is in charge of guiding and overseeing the setup of LTE infrastructure, making sure everything is installed and commissioned smoothly. This role demands strict compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations. By effectively managing field teams and subcontractors, the LTE Supervisor Engineer ensures that projects are carried out efficiently, delivered on schedule, and optimized for top network performance. Additionally, this role involves finding locations for LTE sites to enhance coverage and connectivity. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Site Supervision & Field Execution • Supervise full site preparation works including excavation, backfilling, concrete foundation works, greenfield towers, rooftop towers, monopoles, ,solar system foundations, and solar farm structures all works follow approved drawings and structural designs. • Ensure all civil and telecom installation activities are performed according to design documents, technical specifications, and HSE requirements. • Monitor contractor activities on a daily basis to verify work quality, correct installation procedures, and adherence to safety regulations. • Conduct on-site inspections, detect non-conformities, and take immediate corrective actions to avoid rework or delays. • Manage construction and installation of generator zones, including concrete pads, fencing, grounding, and equipment placement. 2. BOQ, Estimation & Material Verification • Prepare accurate BOQs for civil works, tower installation, excavation, fencing, and solar system structures. • Estimate manpower, materials, and equipment requirements based on actual site conditions. • Verify delivered materials and ensure full compliance with project specifications before installation. 3. Planning, Scheduling & Reporting • Prepare and track the work schedule, timeline, and completion plan for each project. • Closely monitor site progress and compare it against the planned schedule. • Inform the line manager immediately about any delays, risks, or obstacles that may impact the timeline or quality of work. • Submit daily, weekly, and milestone progress reports with accurate documentation (photos, site notes, and checklists). 4. Coordination & Quality Assurance • Coordinate with project managers and project coordinator and project monitor , design teams, supply chain, and contractors to ensure all site requirements are fulfilled. • Ensure all works meet company quality standards, safety rules, and inspection requirements. • Support site acceptance, testing, and handover activities. 5. Project Coordination & Reporting: • Collaborate with the Project monitor and project coordinator and project manger Monitor to streamline deployment activities. • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including site reports, quality control records, and issue logs. • Provide regular progress updates, proactively addressing challenges and escalating critical issues as needed. • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and safety protocols throughout all site operations. 6. Site Hunting Report (SHR): • Conduct site surveys (SHR) to assess and identify optimal locations for LTE site installations. • Evaluate site conditions, infrastructure availability, and environmental factors to determine feasibility. • Assess the structural integrity of buildings and rooftops to ensure they meet load-bearing and safety requirements for equipment installation. • Prepare detailed SHR reports with recommendations based on survey findings. • Coordinate with planning teams to ensure proposed sites align with network expansion strategies. 7. Resource Management: • Plan and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely project execution. • Monitor the progress of work and adjust resource allocations as necessary to meet project deadlines. 8.Work Conditions: • The applicant must be available to work at any time as required by the company. • Must be prepared to work in any location as per the company's needs.
